American Idol fans really like American Idol. Scratch “like,” they LIVE American Idol. To make a point just check out the 250+ comments over at People.com.

I find their analysis on the whole thing a bit ridiculous: “The Johnny Depp Analogy” - How does Johnny Depp get dragged into this? Who Knows. Go ahead and comment you angst away children.
