No Spanish-Language Press Conference For Diego Luna & Gael Garcia Bernal In LA

At a recent press event in Los Angeles for Friday’s wide, American release of Rudo Y Cursi, Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal skipped the Latino press conference. According to this clip, they weren’t “allowed” to have exclusive interviews with Hispanic media. Supposedly it was the organizers fault, but I think they did it on purpose so they wouldn’t have to answer the many ridiculous questions shows like La Oreja or Escandalo usually ask.

I would say they now feel they’re too good for us Mexicans, but knowing Paty Chapoy and Pepillo, seriously? who wouldn’t?
I am not very fond of Gael, but I gotta say that ex-chubby Dieguito Luna is quite charming.
Mexican media needs to chill. It’s not like they’re the image of professional journalism. Right, Mara?
As much as I feel Spanish gossip programs can be ridiculous and trashy at times, the fact that the Spanish media is what helped them rise as stars, along with their incredible talent weren’t allowed to get a word from them is infuriating. This is a movie aimed at Hispanic viewers, and that fact that Hispanic press were kept away from them makes me think that all them fame has gotten to their head. p.s.: my unconditional love for Gael Garcia Bernal is everlasting!!!!!!
