Jetamerica AKA Air Azul The New Skybus? Ryanair?

Air Azul was supposed to be the Ryanair of America but it’s never come to be. The startup never… started up. But now it has risen as Jet America and when jaunted.com tried to book a flight over the phone, they were told the following:

“Flights will not be operating until July 1, but will be “ultra cheap.”

How about that? American airfare is very expensive compared to European travel. Sure, distances aren’t as big, even taking that into consideration it’s still better over the pond.
