Stacy Peterson, Lisa Stebic Possible Body Found

A badly decomposed body was found by a cleanup crew working Wednesday afternoon on the Des Plaines River. The police said the remains were “severely deteriorated” and “mainly skeletal,” and that “DNA testing will be needed for positive identification.”

Lisa Stebic, missing since Monday, April 30th, 2007 was last seen at her home in Plainfield, Illinois. She had her cell phone with her when she went missing. However, according to police, it has not been used since that very day.
