Jonathan Rhys Meyers Arrested For Attacking Paris Airport Barman

“Tudors actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been arrested after allegedly attacking a barman at a Paris Airport and then threatening to kill them.
Rhys Meyers, 31-year-old, was allegedly drunk when he launched the assault in Le Quotidien bar in terminal 2F at Charles de Gaulle airport on Saturday afternoon in front of astonished onlookers.
A spokesman for Paris police said Rhys Meyers, who plays King Henry VIII in the BBC series, was held for three hours so as to “sober up”.
He will appear before magistrates in September on charges of “willful violence, outrage, hitting and threatening death” after being released on bail.”
