Lucy ‘In The Sky With Diamonds’ Vodden Is Sick

Lucy Vodden, the inspiration behind the Beatles international hit “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds” has Lupus, a chronic disease where the immune system attacks the body’s own tissue. Julian Lennon, childhood friends and thus the inspiration for the song, has kelp in touch with her and recently sent her vouchers for flowers. Gardening is one the few hobbies Lucy can still practice and enjoy.

The 46-year-old was quoted saying: “Julian got in touch with me out of the blue, when he heard how ill I was, and he said he wanted to do something for me”
