Melissa Gilbert Talks Rob Lowe Split, Misscarriage In New Book

She was on “Little House on the Prairie” and dated 80’s movie star Rob Lowe when she was just 14. Now, Melissa Gilbert opens up on loosing Rob and his baby on her new tell-all book.

“I fell hopelessly and stupidly in love.” After telling Lowe she was pregnant with his child, she tells People magazine, “He said very softly, ‘I can’t be a father.’ Before I could respond, he said, ‘I can’t be a husband. I’m so sorry.’” She eventually lost her child, “I had lost my baby and my relationship with Rob … and it hurt like hell.”
