80,000 Real Madrid Fans Show Up To Watch Cristiano Ronaldo Strut Around, Wave

Yes that's right - 80,000 fans showed up for Real Madrid's unveiling of their new big time star Ronaldo, dwarfing the 55,000 who showed up for the unveiling of fellow Real acquisition Kaka last week (and bested the 75,000 who turned out in 1984 for the arrival of Diego Maradona in Napoli). The 24-year old winger dressed out in his new No. 9 jersey and gave a brief speech before touring the pitch, while Real owner Florentino Pérez continued to laugh maniacally at his genius (as he has non-stop for the past month or so).
