Texas Tech is worse than a CIA black site. It’s in Lubbock where they make rednecks.
I lived near Lubbock for many years. Here is what I personally experienced:
People there seemed to roll the “n” word off their tongues as if it were butter.
They also called all Latinos “Mexican” because other Latin countries simply do not exist in their minds.
Miller Lite was a priceless commodity.
Any concert playing country music sold alcohol. All other concerts (rock, Spanish, etc…) only sold sodas and water.
You mean, “Mescan.”
Oh yes! And there was also “Metzican.”
Um, aren’t most Latinos in West (and South) Texas Mexicans or Mexican Americans? I mean, even Mexicans/Mexican Americans in Texas assume that other Hispanics in Texas are Mexican.
I knew a guy who lives in Lubbock. He was not too smart.
