Danzantes, Mixcoatl Anahuac, were commended on Monday during the San Francisco Board of Supervisors meeting. The dichotomous imagery captured in this picture is pretty amazing: uptight suits vs. colorful headdresses. I also bet their performance relieved some tension after discussing how broke San Francisco is and how we don’t want to change anything.

  1. Whoa! Wish I had seen it. Seems a lot better than Hurricane Chris.

  2. yeah, i bet it was great, loud, and incense-y. r-a-d. and then after an awkward pause they had to go back to discussing the budget or taking away parking spaces from people with cars or something equally banal and eye-pokingly boring.
