In honor of the 40th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing, Google has unveiled Google Moon, an interactive map in the style of Google Earth that features topographically accurate represenations of the landing sites of various moon missions, along with pictures, video and audio. The project, presented in cooperation with NASA, also features detailed journals of the various experiments performed and a whole host of fun fact and anecdotes that will take you hours to get through, and it’s all worth it.
