Gov. Charlie Crist swamps former Florida House speaker Marco Rubio 54 - 23 percent in the 2010 Republican primary for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Mel Martinez, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released recently. In addition Crist has raised over $4 million so far, compared to Rubio’s $300k.
Apparently Florida Republicans like older, probably gay, orange skinned moderates more than they do handsome young Hispanics with political views just a hair to the left of those of Generalissimo Francisco Franco. Of course it’s not over yet. Hah.
