Regina Benjamin: Too Fat To Be Surgeon General?

Some people (ABC News?) think Dr. Regina Benjamin is too large to be surgeon general and that, being about 40 pounds overweight, she’s not a good example of a healthy lifestyle. Lord, please, please, please do not allow these people to take the fact that Benjamin is black as an excuse to come down on soul food the way some took Sotomayor’s Puerto Ricanosity as a go-ahead to dissect beans and rice as they related to the American identity (or something).
