Four years ago, on the occasion of the last death at Pamplona, a BBC reporter filed this chilling story of witnessing the death of the last man gored in el encierro, American Matthew Tassio. Think of it as kind of an anti-Death in the Afternoon, wherein the lesson the writer learns is just to never return to Pamplona.
