Viva La Crazy: Ron Artest Is Coming To Los Angeles

Kobe Bryant and Ron Artest are about to make out a lot more often now that they’re on the same team. The Lakers declined to sign Trevor Ariza (who went to the Houston Rockets making a de facto trade via free agency) and instead signed Ronny, who will be taking a pay cut to play for the World Champs.

Artest put it all in perspective in an interview with ESPN:

I’ve made money over my time in the NBA, I lost money when David Stern suspended me [in 2006 for his role in the infamous Pacers-Pistons brawl], I’m not playing for the money anymore.
