Argentina Says It’s Unconstitutional To Harsh Your Buzz By Arresting You For Pot Possession

Argentina’s Supreme Court ruled today that it is unconstitutional to criminally punish an adult for the use of marijuana in private as “long as it doesn’t hurt anybody.” No wonder Mark Sanford can’t wait to get back there. The court’s web site said the seven-member decision was unanimous. With the addition of Mexico legalizing possession of small amounts of drugs late last week, Latin America is set to become the Amsterdam of the Americas. Huzzah.
