Seven Injured As Paris-Spain Flight Catches Fire
5 August 2009, 9:46 AM. By Chris Alonzo
Seven of the 175 passengers aboard an Airbus 320 bound for Spain were injured yesterday as the jet caught fire before takeoff. It is still unknown why the plane, departing from Paris, caught fire while disengaging from the boarding ramp. The seven injury, oddly enough, were not burn victims: they were all injured while using the emergency slides to exit the plane. We’re not entirely sure how you can misuse a slide, particularly in up to seven separate instances, but it was hopefully Mr. Bean-esque in it’s physical hilarity.
