Shane Victorino Files Police Report After Being Showerd With Beer By Cubs Fan

Phillies center fielder Shane Victorino today filed a police report after being doused with beer by an unruly fan at Wrigley Field. The Chicago Cubs fan, who got away while another man was questioned, will be charged with “simple battery” for throwing the beer on the field while Victorino attempted to catch a sac fly (Victorino was doused, but still made the play.) Cubs management has jointly filed a report and apologized to Victorino, saying that the incident is a poor reflection of their city and fan base, which is a lie.
