British scientists have discovered a giant carnivorous plant in the Phillipines that eats animals as large as rats, the Sun reports. The plant, named Nepenthes attenboroughii (after Sir David Attenborough) traps animals inside it’s enormous “pitcher”, which is filled with viscous enzymes that make it hard for prey to escape. It has also been known to eat mice and frogs, and exists only on Mt. Victoria in central Palawan, Philippines.

You can check out video here of the plant in action.
