Andy Rodriguez Charged With Stabbing Fellow Student At Coral Gables High School

Andy Rodriguez, 17, has been charged in the fatal stabbing of Coral Gables High School classmate Juan Carlos Rivera, also 17. Rodriguez, who was born in Havana, has no prior record and will be held in detention until October 6. Prosecutors in the case announced today that they would take the case to the grand jury, which means Rodriguez could possibly receive a first-degree murder indictment in felony adult court.
