Suzanne Somers Thinks Nutrients Could Have Saved Patrick Swayze

Hey, remember how I was saying that I sort of hate celebrities? This is a good example of why. Suzanne Somers, who is both a doctor and a scientist, said that she “hates to be controversial,” but Patrick Swayze would be alive today if it wasn’t for all that pesky chemo:

They took a beautiful man and put poison in his body. Why couldn’t they have built him up nutritionally and gotten rid of the toxins? I hate to be controversial…but I have to speak out.

Hey, Suze? You’re an asshole. Drinking green tea and taking a multivitamin will not cure you of cancer. Moreover, don’t you suppose he and his family took a lot of time agonizing over whether to undergo chemo, and how long to do it for, and whether it was no longer worth it? Please think about this very hard during your next colonoscopy.
