Uruguay Approves Gay Adoptions

Today lawmakers in Montevideo, Uruguay voted in favor of gay and lesbians adoptions. This law would give gay and lesbian parents equal rights than heterosexual parents. Uruguay last year also authorized civil unions for homosexuals. The law is yet to be approved by the senate.
