Calle 13’s Residente Plays For No President

There is some crazy hearsay up in this story. First, Hugo Chavez says he’s booking Calle 13 for a private concert this Thursday, and then setting up a free show at a military base on Sunday. All of this was confirmed by El Nuevo Dia, a Puerto Rican newspaper. Then Rene jumps on his Twitter and says he “plays for no President” and that as far as he knows, he’s playing on the 29th and to the people, not privately.

So which is it?
