Latin America Is Getting All Anti-Semitic

The Wall Street Journal brings up an interesting point about Latin America and their awkward relationship to Judaism.

Sometimes I ask myself if Hitler wasn’t right when he wanted to finish with that race, through the famous holocaust, because if there are people that are harmful to this country, they are the Jews, the Israelites.

the post used to read “South America Is Getting All Anti-Semetic,” but the quote is from a Central American country. The title was changed after I pointed this out.

It is not only incorrect, but also might be offensive to some. Not to mention the irony, since this is a “hispanic” blog.

So yes, AGUARDIENTE, that WAS my comment.

  3. Before I decide the manner in which I’d like to reply to your most recent post, I have a question for you? Are you the same “Guest” that was picking fights with Alex on the Cuba thing a few days ago?

what? so i assume you have an axe to grind, huh? not me, sorry.

but whatever, knock yourself out if you want.

  4. You are correct, it was another person…my mixup. See, when people actually take the time to register & familiarize themselves with a site instead of throwing useless shots under the “Guest” comfort blanket, it makes it easier for the rest of us to identify & understand their nature, style &/or comprehension level in their replies from previous posts.

Doing this would have further allowed you to accomplish a few things: a) knowing that the editors of this site are pretty quick to correct their own mistakes. therefore, the repressed high school geography teacher in you did not need to spring up with the red pen so damn fast. (i bet u honk the horn the second the light turns green too); b) my previous comments on how i cannot stand it when someone’s only contribution is to correct the grammar, spelling &/or minor mistake of another & completely ignores the topic at hand. i wouldn’t do it as a guest in a person’s home nor would i do it on someone’s site. start your own for that; and c) my correcting Cindy’s spelling of a country. Again, a little hmwrk would have allowed you to see that i did so quite a while since the piece went up & with the upmost of respect & manners.

Lastly, you’d have gathered that I am the wrong bitch to fuck with.

And now, I am done with you, Rand McNally.

“mixup” is actually two words, typically spelled with a hyphen: “mix-up”

dear “wrong bitch to mess with”,

while i’m sure you’re one of those who believes you have the ability to win all arguments, in actuality, what you just said really makes little sense, and wouldn’t hold up with people with more than one brain cell any day. but i do like how u go off in tangents like a drowning puppy desperately trying to grab anything to hold on to. why dont you stick to making my tacos (xtra guac please!) and leave the commenting to those who know what they’re talking about…

manners! last i remember, this was a post about anti-semitism and not “whose clit is bigger”. sadly, there will always be people who do not like jews ( or latinos on that note). i don’t think that pointing to a handful of anti-Semites in Latin America or Hugo Chavez makes Latin America a place where jewish people are unwelcome. my salvadoran mom was born in the 30’s in a german-jewish community. while that community is very small, the salvadoran Constitution was amended a few years ago to mandate freedom of religion. that was mostly focused on protecting jewish and muslim communities. and PS- has anyone heard of a place called argentina? that country has many, many jews.

before anyone calls me out for writing as “guest”, i can barely keep up with my doctoral dissertation as it is. every second is precious and posting as guest is easier.
