British couple Andy and Joanna Finlay claim they were innocently walking their German Shepherd Twinnie last Sunday when he suddenly ran away. They claim they searched for him until they finally found el pobre at the precipice of a cliff. Andy Finlay elaborates:

Then we found him and were trying to get him, but he backed off and fell.Luckily he seemed to go straight into the water rather than hitting rocks.Coastguards and the police were called, they saw the glint of his eyes with a torch and found him lying half in and half out of the water.He was absolutely terrified but otherwise fine. He seems very happy now.

But then your wife starts ignoring you. “Joanna, you’re really spending a lot of time with Twinnie”. The way you say it isn’t combative, just honest. She ignores it, and also starts ignoring you. She forgets your birthday, then she stops talking with you, and soon enough the only thing she looks forward too are the increasingly long ways she takes ‘Twatty Twinnie’ on. So you set up the old dog falling off a cliff ruse, and it almost works. Maybe next time- you won’t get a next time.We’re onto you Andy Finlay.
