Kate Gosselin was interviewed by Natalie Morales last night on TLC as journalism and reality TV furthered their sick, co-dependent bond. Meanwhile, husband Jon Gosselin appeared on Rabbi Shmuley–Oprah and Michael Jackson’s rabbi–last night as religion gave another doubloon to the devil. I have always liked Natalie on the Today Show but was completely shocked by her interviewing style. It actually changed my opinion of her and am not a fan of hers anymore. I felt that she was very judgemental and was harassing her over the same question. I actually felt really bad for Kate. I wanted to tell Natalie off for being so hard on her. She made herself seem like she was so much better and would never put her kids in front of a camera but she has (just recently in a People Mag interview) and guarantee if she was in Kates shoes 5 years ago when the show started, she would have done the same thing. Kate didnt plan on her marriage ending in divorce. It wasnt something she could control. I do not feel that she has exploited her kids at all. I feel that she has done everything she can to provide a good life for them. She has made mistakes and she needs to be more loving and kind but Jon needs to grow up!
This has always been one of my favorite shows to watch with my kids. At times I’d have to say Kate seemed hard on Jon about some of her OCD issues, BUT nobody deserves what Kate has had to endure since this breakup. Talk about verbal abuse! I think Kate has been an awesome mother, woman and advocate for her children, who, unlike her husband, has only her children’s best interest at heart. Whether that be financially or their happiness. She is a strong woman who refuses to crack under the pressure being put on her as a result of her dirt bag husband. If I were to meet her, I would say; Kate, keep doing what your doing and let that looser go through his obvious mid-life crisis on his own time! Any man (or parent for that matter) that would bad mouth the mother of his children to ANYONE, nevermind the media or the children themselves are vermon. It has to be the most disgusting thing someone could do, nevermind how detrimental it is to those poor children that love their Mom and need not EVER hear a bad word spoken about her! Kate, just keep doing what you are doing. Loving your children, trying your hardest to give them a stable home, and fighting for their financial security now and in the future! You are an amazing woman. I hope you are happy to know that these thoughts and comments are coming from as many men as women. My husband has so many choice words for Jon and his rediculous antics that I can’t write them, but I’d like to think you would completely agree with him, if not get a little chuckle from them.
