Unshocking: Almost A Quarter Of Traffic Cops In Monterrey Mexico Fired For Corruption
12 November 2009, 11:39 AM. By Cindy Casares
Mexico, the land of police officers who will take your car as a bribe during a routine traffic stop, has fired a bunch of traffic cops in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon for failing to pass a corruption test. More than 270 officers out of 1,142 failed an exam which tested their honesty, mental aptitude, medical condition and evidence of extra income. The testing is part of President Felipe Calderon’s attempt to clean up the country’s law enforcement services which, everyone knows, is also part of the country’s crime force. Another 500 officers have been sent for more training. And, “in a final insult,” over half have been told they are overweight. Ohhhhh snap.

they want to hire women. they perceive the idea that women will not be corrupted. listen, if you get paid 200.00 dollars a month and someone you stop offers 200.00 pesos roughly 14.00 dollars or so you are gonna take it, i don’t care if you are a man or a woman we all have the same needs, house, car, kids, kids clothes, education well you catch my drift. it will never end.
